🌟 Boost Your Body’s Natural GLP-1:

A Smarter Path to Weight Management 🌟

🤔 Why is weight loss so challenging—even when you’re doing “everything right”? The answer often lies in the complex communication between your brain, gut, and hormones, sometimes referred to as the appetite “chatter.”

In this insightful talk, Anahita Wilson, a registered Nutritional Practitioner, will unpack the science behind appetite and satiety signalling and explore the role of GLP-1—one of the body’s key hormones involved in hunger, fullness, and weight regulation, and the hormone targeted by medications such as Ozempic and Wegovy.

In this session, you’ll learn:

  • Why weight loss can feel like an uphill battle and how appetite signalling really works

  • How GLP-1 agonist medications support weight loss, and the potential side effects to consider

  • Ways to support your own natural GLP-1 production through food and lifestyle

  • How nutrigenomics can reveal individual differences in appetite and satiety pathways

  • Why GLP-1 medications may not be suitable for everyone—and what your genes can tell you

  • Practical, evidence-based diet and lifestyle strategies to support healthy appetite control

This talk is ideal for anyone curious about sustainable weight management, personalised nutrition, or the science behind popular weight-loss medications.

Walk away with a deeper understanding of your body—and practical tools you can apply straight away.
