Our chair Laura invited Kathy Hartmann-Campbell as our guest and speaker for September. A great opening after the summer.
Kathy was born and raised in the US, graduated from Yale University with honors in philosophy and has lived in Basel, Switzerland since 1982. After completing further training in applied psychology, and serving as head of language training at Hoffmann-La Roche, she started her own company in 1990 as a communication trainer and coach.

The Topic: Managing Difficult Conversations Whether it?s with your boss, a colleague, your partner or your child, managing tough conversations is an essential life skill. We frequently avoid having them or handle them badly by going into defensive or attack mode.
In this interactive workshop you will get hands-on practice in preparing and handling difficult conversations. You will learn the key elements that contribute to their success and how to manage them skillfully. Please come with a situation in mind that you would like to address.

The company she started over 26 years ago works with private and corporate clients providing coaching, facilitation and training in all aspects of communication and personal development.
