Our guest speaker will be Sue Style (www.suestyle.com),who is an author of eight books on food and wine. Her ninth,on Swiss farmhouse cheeses, is due out this autumn/fall,published by Bergli Books in Basel. She writes on food,wine and travel for British and American magazinesand newspapers (FT Weekend, Decanter, France, Culture Cheese)and for the California? based online food and wine e?zine Zester Daily. Find out how Sue converted a hobby into a profession as shediscusses how to get published in this heavily oversubscribed field,the role of the internet (websites, blogs, e?books, apps) infood/wine publishing, how to pitch an article to a publication,and the importance of reconciling yourself to (sometimes) writingor broadcasting for free.
