Basel Quartierstreffpunkte

We confirm: Quartierstreffpunkte are definitely your starting point to make Basel your home. Every district of the City of Basel has one.

Don┬┤t worry if you have a hard time pronouncing it, it is a very difficult word, even for people who are native German speakers.

Secondly, you need to see through the fact that the centre`s name is not the same as the district name. Note that the district names people use might also not be the official district names čÖé

Two details I personally really liked to learn

  • Eating together is a good way to meet – in many centres you can cook with others
  • Cafe Balance is a Gym for elderly people who get together to chat and have a coffee together afterwards

We were happy to learn so much from Claudia Greter – Leiterin Kontaktstelle f├╝r Quartierarbeit. Thank you so much Claudia, for sharing all materials with us.

Take the time and learn about more
