Found it now – sorry to have missed it. Lets put it into a blog article! Do you have a picture for me that I can use and a quote from a child or mom who attended your workshops before? Thanks

Erica Mueni, is soft in her talk amiable in her approach but Oh! is she a POWER woman!
We met yesterday an energetic, confident lady that left home at a very early age to come to Switzerland to work at a family business. A pioneer in many ways, she has gone through ups and downs, like we all do, but her persistence and belief in her own self has brought her to where she is now. A happy owner of a very nice Café in Basel. Her story is remarkable and PWG feels honoured that Erica agreed to share her journey with us.

    Volunteering at the Expat Expo

PWG will be at Expat Expo 2016 on June 12 and we would be thrilled to have you help us promote PWG.

We will start setting up at 09:00 and close at about 18:00. Every hour of help is welcome.

We are planning a teleconference where we share everything you need to know about the day – we want to chat with ladies about PWG and need your voices to share your personal experience.

We had successful Expo appearances in the last years and many new members bringing fresh air and energy to our group. We’re excited to keep up the momentum at this year’s Expo too.

Our aim is to register at least 20 new members, ideally right at Expat Expo by filling out our form or the online registration at the table. We also would like to make contact with at least 3 vendors PWG can collaborate with in the future.

    Here is the Doodle link

Thanks to all who came to help promote PWG at past Expat Expos.

    Barbara Lauries’ great performance
As representative of the Committee Members, I would like to deeply thank Barbara Laurie for her performance at the 25th Anniversary Celebration Party from the Professional Women’s Group of Basel. The songs she chose for the evening were just the right ones for the event; sign of it was when the attendees decided to accompany her by finger clicking, the sound was thrilling! Barbara’s voice created a magical atmosphere highlighted when two ladies from the public stood up to sing with her. Barbara had planned in advance to engage two of her friends; it was a fantastic trio . We will surely think of Barbara first whenever we plan a special event.

    Free Stress Management Training

A friend of me is studying Psychology and is offering a free Stress Management Training as part of a study on the effectiveness of this training. The target group is 18-60 year old women, and she would really like to get not only students as participants, so I promised to spread the word for her. It is in german, but as we have quite some german speaking members, I thought I could post it here:

    Gruppe A
    Dienstag 17. März von 16 bis 20h
    Donnerstag 19. März von 18 bis 20h
    Samstag 21. März von 15 bis 17h
    Dienstag 24. März von 18 bis 20h
    Donnerstag 26. März von 18 bis 20h
    Samstag 28. März von 13 bis 17h
    Gruppe B
    Dienstag 31. März von 16 bis 20h
    Donnerstag 2. April von 18 bis 20h
    Dienstag 7. April von 18 bis 20h
    Donnerstag 9. April von 18 bis 20h
    Samstag 11. April von 15 bis 17h
    Dienstag 14. April von 16 bis 20h
